I'm writing this on the 2^nd day of January 2012: the sky is a cloudless blue, the air still. After all the turbulence of 2011, I am feeling the power held within that stillness, the potency stored within the potential all around us - so much energy, so many opportunities, untapped as yet but waiting only for the still power of our own attention before they will respond.

2011 was big - very obviously big - for every one of us, and yet it was bigger even than it looked or felt. It was personal but it was also powerfully transpersonal. Old structures truly are crumbling, all around us as well as within us: anything that does not serve the Unity so essential to our collective survive-and-thrive is being thrown out. Our cocoons are shaking and we are being born to ourselves.

In his letter to the Corinthians, St Paul wrote: "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." The inner meaning of this is especially profound at this moment in our shared history: when we were children (for the last 5,125 years or so, or maybe far longer) we held onto our stories of anger and resentment and jealousy and betrayal and all the other things that create wars in our cells, our bodies, our relationships, our communities and our lives - and thus keep us small and powerless.

We are growing up: we are no longer 'children of God', as we have so often described ourselves. In Bruce Lipton's and Steve Bhaerman's phrase, we are "adults of God". It is the 'childish things' of St Paul's writing, or our fear-ridden emotions, which have kept us in contraction. For the longest time, we forgot who we were. And so the angels, the higher intelligences of the Universe, gathered in force, crossing the veils between the dimensions in order to reach us and dissolve our fear-based structure of thought and feeling with higher frequencies of wisdom, light and love.

If we allow It to reach us, if we open our consciousness fully to Its presence, the Light will penetrate every cell. Nothing less will do, in fact: each cell must remember its real nature; it must shed its stories and wake up to its vast potential as a being of light.

This is the true purpose of Yoga and it is the true purpose of Metatronic Healing®, which has been described as "the Yoga of the New Age" (Atlantis and the New Consciousness, Wilson & Prentis, 2011). Metatronic Healing began with a clear instruction: to "remove the story from the body energetically". As our cells shed their baggage and remember their truth, our senses expand; then, little by little, those senses become tuned to the great and fertile field of power and consciousness of which they are a part. Like Dorothy back in her bed in Kansas, we begin to know in the deepest sense that we never left home in the first place. We just thought we did.

So my New Year intention is simple: it is to stay awake. It is to keep my heart open, in gratitude, so that I will respond to the moments as they emerge, moment by moment, from the rich etheric field that is within me, within all that is around me, and within everyone I meet.
