There are a lot of spiritual books out there and many trot out the same old, same old. However, this book was gripping from start to finish and I read it in one sitting - it was that good. Woven into the story are many spiritual messages which you can choose to chew over or ignore and just enjoy the fantastic story.

L.Frank Baum's original book was full of colour and light - the young heroine's adventure towards personal discovery and empowerment was pretty thoroughly colour-coded. There's a lot to explore in the original work: this examines just one of the 'yellow brick roads' that the author originally offered us. The original Wizard of Oz was written over a century ago but its hidden messages are as pertinent now as ever. This entertaining book can be read in less than a couple of hours but try it and see if it gives you some hints for a happier way of living.
