Depression is a debilitating disease which affects 5-10% of the population any any given time. The World Health Organization tells us that major depression was the fourth leading cause of the overall world disease burden in 1990, and that it is estimated to be increasing in the developed as well as the developing regions.
Energy healing sees the deep roots of depression stemming from the internalized anger and frustration that arise from a variety of inner causes: low self-worth and the resulting feeling of powerlessness; unexpressed resentment against others close to them, or against seemingly insurmountable obstacles in their life path. Metatronic Healing places vital importance not only on clearing damaging memories, feelings and beliefs from the storehouses of our cells but also on activating the latent power of our hearts - or our heart centers, which hold the core of our emotional lives and are also the most powerful energy stations we possess. An important aspect of the power within the techniques of this method is to put us into touch, safely, with what has been suppressed; to support us in feeling what needs to be felt. Only when an experience is truly felt can it be understood and integrated: thus pain is transmuted to wisdom and the doors to freedom begin to ease their way open. Activating the heart also does more: it quickens the connection with the source of our power. To open our hearts is to reclaim the power of our birthright and live the lives we once intended to live. Shutting down the heart in pain does just the opposite: it keeps us disempowered. Here are the words of one psychotherapist who brought Metatronic Healing into her practice: "I work with people suffering emotional problems: sexual abuse, suicide, physical and mental abuse, loneliness, grief, broken hearts, terror and fear, hatred and resentment, anger and rage, depression and anxiety etc, and various physical problems. "I nearly always start off their treatments with a Metatronic Healing session. I am in awe and wonder at the incredible, immediate changes that take place for people just in one session. They tell me that they can no longer access in their minds the extreme feeling that they had, or their physical problem gets better. It makes the rest of their journey back to well-being a much gentler and more peaceful ride. "When I work with people now it never occurs to me that something amazing won't happen!" How May We Help?
What is more, for many people the years below 45 are among their most productive, yet it is this under-45 age group that is much more likely to suffer depression than those who are older, so the practical, emotional and even financial cost of this must obviously impact on families and communities as well as the individual.
